Niche Affiliate Marketing System Workshop

Author: admin, November 6th, 2009

dcp_3120Bob the Teacher recently interviewed David Perdew – the man who is responsible for the NAMS Workshop. That is the workshop that I went to in Atlanta last August. NAMS stands for Niche Affiliate Marketing Workshop and it is a workshop in every sense of the word. You go there and you learn how to do stuff and you implement it right then and there!

There is practically no selling, so you’re not going to get that hardcore ’sales from the stage’ like at so many other conferences. The presenters/guides will tell you a little blip about their own sites/businesses, but, that is it – just a blip. The rest is their teaching you how to do stuff (make money!) and helping you do the thing they’ve just taught you!

Not the best known speakers – but, the best teaching speakers!

I just love that line that Bob said towards the end of the audio! That sums up NAMS perfectly!!

You can find the information page about the workshop right here ==> NAMS 3

And you can find Bob the Teacher at the IM Success Library

One thing you need to remember is that part of the success of this teaching workshop is keeping it small. What that means is that if you want to be a part of this fun, learning weekend, you should grab your tickets now! Here is the link again: NAMS 3

And see how goofy happy I am in that pic at the workshop? That alone is reason enough for me to go!

Kevin Riley Video – Listen To This Guy!

Author: admin, November 6th, 2009

Kevin Riley is one of the ‘marketers you can trust’, like we talked about yesterday. He is a really good guy. Heck, I even just received an addressed by hand letter from him in the mail! I was thrilled, let me tell you! I subscribe to his YouTube channel so that I can keep up with what he’s teaching/talking about and I ran across one that I would love to share with you this morning. Kevin addresses a trap that many, if not all, of us fall into from time to time, especially when we are just getting started working online.

You can find Kevin at RocketProductCreation.com.

If you have any interest in working at home online, you have to read this post I’m going to tell you about today! There is tons of crap out there – trying to lead you down dark alleys that they have disguised as “beautiful meadows full of all the answers that you need to start a business online”. Some of it is wishy washy crud that just barely covers the surface of things …some of it is stuff that is downright wrong …and some of it is so black hat, you shouldn’t be touching it with a ten foot pole!

One lady that you can definitely trust in learning how to make money online/start a business online, is Donna Fontenot, better known online as DazzlinDonna. She is super smart and super sweet and she really does have your best interest in mind. And once you read the post, you will see that she is for real. No sugar coating, no painting beautiful pictures, no showing fancy cars – she just tells you how it is.

In the post, she goes over some of the expectations associated with working at home. She addresses work expectations, income expectations, and friends and family expectations. You really should just go read this post right now.

Why Do You Work At Home

Author: admin, October 30th, 2009

With all of the frustrations and messes of life happening right under our noses all the time, as work at home moms, we can forget our ‘why’ sometimes. This sweet article by Nicole Dean will help you remember!

Working from Home — Examining your ‘Why’

~~You can listen to this article, if you’d rather, right here: Nicole Dean – Examine Your Why

As Work at Home Moms, we talk about our “Why” as a positive thing. Our “Why” is our purpose, our reason, our muse. We refer to our ‘Why’ when we need inspiration or motivation to reach outside our comfort zone, to try a little harder, to keep going even when it’s hard. Our ‘Why’ helps us to succeed.

Today I was asking “Why work from home” in a slightly different tone. Today, I am home with a sick puppy and am up to my eyeballs in puppy puke.

I’m new to this puppy thing. I was warned up and down about how much work a puppy is, and I thought “I have two children. How hard can a puppy possibly be?!” Well, one difference is that newborn babies aren’t born with fangs –

at least mine weren’t. So, in between changing the gauze patches on my shredded arms (those teeth are sharp!), and hours of puppy school, I fell in love with this furry beast. He was added to my list of “Why’s”.

So, today, while I was composing my work at home mom newsletter, in the background I hear my furr-ball start to vomit — again. The thought that ran through my mind initially was not a happy “Why”. It was more like:

WHY in the world am I home to deal with this while my husband gets to sit in a quiet office all day?

WHY isn’t HE dealing with cleaning up the 8th pile of yucky stuff?

WHY don’t I get any peace and quiet while I work?!

After I cleaned up the puppy, rubbed his head and got him clean blankets, threw in another load of laundry, and climbed into bed with my sick 7 year old and my 3 year old to read stories, I had time to collect my thoughts. A little bit (ok, a LOT) of puppy puke was sure worth it.

And, later, when I made my phone call to my husband to tell him about our day, it wasn’t the puppy-puke I was telling him about….

I told him how our daughter said that she wanted to plant some jelly beans to grow a jelly bean tree. And, how the kids were playing the game of Life and I overheard their rules. They decided that the person who got the most parents
into the car won. That’s why I stay at home.

And, if a furry little tail starts wagging when I walk into the room? Well, that’s sure an added bonus.

So, the next time your warm and loving “Why” turns into a plea for help, take a deep breath and think of all the memories you would be missing — both good and not-so-good, if you weren’t a work at home mom.

8 Step Getting Started Plan

Author: admin, September 16th, 2009

I’ve been hanging out at Lynn Terry’s Self Starters Weekly Tips Forum for quite a few years now, but, the last 2-3 years over there have been simply FABULOUS!  Lynn has really kicked it up a notch – and then another notch – and then another notch – again and again!! And it’s really a rockin’ place full of uber cool online marketers – moms, dads, young people, older people – you name it!

One of the ladies there now is a very sweet lady from Australia who has a really great online biz helping others to get started online.  Her name is Leigh Kostiainen and she is a mom of two young boys who operates her business out of a spare room in her house.  She has a sweet, lovely disposition and is quite genuine in wanting to help others get started.

There is so much information out there to wade through when you’re getting started trying to make money online and it is very easy to get lost – to the point of just giving up altogether! And I’m sure many people do give up!  Leigh wants to help people wade through the maze of stuff and get to making money!

She has a very simple 8 step system to guide you in getting your business up and running.
